A new hero will soon be introduced in the action game For Honor. The character strongly resembles boss enemies from the action-adventure Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.
Who is Hitokiri? The warrior has lost his faith in humanity and wanders the land to kill criminals with his powerful axe.
The Hitokiri spreads fear among enemies in battles. You can play him in two variants, a female one called Sakura and a male one named Yato.
This is reminiscent of Sekiro
What does the hero remind you of? The imposing warrior with the creepy mask and the oversized Masakari axe could have been directly spawned from From Software’s action-adventure Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.
Sekiro takes place in feudal Japan, and the enemies also feature elaborate Asian designs, some with grotesque masks and massive weapons.
What can the Hitokiri do? The new hero not only strikes hard with his Masakari axe, but can also create a black, spreading cloud on the battlefield that instills horror in enemies. The Hitokiri falls into the “Heavy” class.
What else does the upcoming update offer? The Season 2 update, which will be released on May 2, will introduce not only the Hitokiri to the game.

How can you get the new hero? The Season 2 update will be available to all Year 3 pass holders on May 2 at 8:00 PM. Everyone else can buy the hero starting May 9 for 15,000 steel.
