Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions brings the beloved magical sport into a standalone game. Players can take on different roles, but the rules modified compared to the films lead to discussions within the community.
What kind of game is this? In Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions, you can prove your skills in the popular sports game from the Harry Potter universe and see if you have what it takes to become a world champion.
You can control various Quidditch teams and characters from the series, including Seekers, Chasers, and Beaters. As in the films, you can also catch the Golden Snitch. This point, however, has caused some discussion among players.

Quidditch Champions is supposed to be played like in the film
Why is the game being played incorrectly? Many players are playing Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions incorrectly because they have the rules from the films and books in mind. In the original Quidditch rules from the Harry Potter series, catching the Golden Snitch brings 150 points and ends the game immediately, which often makes the efforts of other players seem unimportant, as the goals are only worth 10 points.
However, in Quidditch Champions, this system has been revised. The Snitch now only brings 30 points, and the game ends only when a team reaches 100 points. Nevertheless, many players expect the Snitch to remain as crucial as in the films and are frustrated when their teammates, especially the Beaters, do not do enough to stop the opposing Seeker.
What are the opinions within the community? In the community of Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions, there are already lively discussions after just two days, especially among the players taking on the role of Beater. Many users on Reddit are frustrated that some Beaters do not take their role seriously and fail to prevent the opposing Seeker from catching the Golden Snitch.

therefore pleads on Reddit: If you play Beater… please, for heaven’s sake, aim for the Seeker as soon as the Snitch appears.
Another user complains on Reddit: Nothing is more frustrating than a Seeker whose team is doing well while my team is not. I fly over the field while the other Seeker simply leisurely chases the Snitch.
Especially in the discussions about the game on Steam, you can also find completely opposite opinions. Some players there describe that many hold too tightly to the films and do not see the behavior of the Beaters as problematic, but rather criticize the players who cling too strongly to the original template.
