The Progen PR4 and the Ocelot R88 are the new Formula vehicles in GTA 5 Online. They are indeed very fast, but they also cost quite a bit of GTA dollars. We will show you what these cars can do.
What’s new? The new expansion “Open-Wheel Racing Series” started today, February 27th, in GTA Online. It brings some new races where up to 16 players will compete against each other.
At the same time, two vehicles were brought to the sales room at Legendary Motorsports. The Progen PR4, which has already been active as a podium vehicle in recent days, and the Ocelot R88.
Ocelot R88 and Progen PR4 – Prices and Tuning
Players have been eager for the new vehicles since they were found in datamining for the Casino Heist.
The prices: As you might have guessed, you won’t be able to get these new racing cars for a few hundred thousand GTA dollars. No, when buying, you have to really reach deep into your pockets.
- The Ocelot R88 costs 3,115,000 GTA dollars
- The Progen PR4 costs 3,515,000 GTA dollars
With that, these cars replace the Benefactor Krieger, which was previously considered the most expensive car in GTA Online.
The tuning: You can tune them with front and rear wings, wheels, tires, and stylish racing designs. You can also install the usual armor upgrades, gears, engine, and turbo tuning.

This makes the vehicles fast: The cool thing is that the vehicles feature a KERS system. This stands for Kinetic Energy Recovery System. It is a boost that charges when you have to brake hard. You can trigger the boost with the left analog stick. This is an important tactical step, especially for the new races.
So you have a boost at hand in races and also in the open world that gives you strong acceleration and makes the vehicles particularly fast.
