So far, Season 3 of 7 vs. Wild has not gone as fans had hoped. Now, a “Behind the Scenes” episode manages to convey what has been missing for fans in the series.
What episode is it about? In 7 vs. Wild, alongside the regular episodes of the survival show, episodes of the “Making-of” format “Behind the Scenes” also appear. Here, viewers are shown how the series is made and what life on-site during production looks like.

More action in the background episode than usual in 7 vs. Wild
What did the participants experience in the episode? After the elimination of Trymacs and Rumathra, more about this can be learned here, in this episode there are also first-time insights into the lives of the eliminated candidates. Many fans had wished for this since Season 2.
They apparently had a good time in Canada. Jan Schlappen took Fritz Meinecke and SurvivalMattin bridge jumping. The freerunner seemed to have a great time with his hobby and appeared completely different compared to his time in 7 vs. Wild. You can find out the reason for his abandonment here.
What were the Nature Sons doing? The Nature Sons Andy Schulze and Gerrit Rösel seemed to have a good time in Canada as well; they went fishing with Jan Schlappen and caught some really big fish from the sea. Presumably, Jan Schlappen also caught the fish that was later lost with Rumathra’s luggage.
Together, all the eliminated participants also went golfing. This was probably the highlight of the episode for many fans. All 7 candidates zoomed around the golf course in golf carts; Jan Schlappen stripped down and dove for golf balls – and they also played some golf.

Fans love the behind-the-scenes episode
Why do fans love the video? The video is filled with energy and fun, hype and success, things that have been rather lacking in the current Season 3 of 7 vs. Wild. Due to the 14-day survival instead of 7 days, the participants do relatively little in the regular episodes. This time, the “Behind the Scenes” format offers the desired variety.

With this episode, the production of 7 vs. Wild delivered exactly what the fans wanted and is doing well with it. However, what the production of the survival show did not want is for participants to find an abandoned village of the indigenous people of the islands where 7 vs. Wild is filmed. However, one team went so far that they suddenly stood in front of the village.
