A new anime about Dragon Ball is supposed to start soon. In it, not only Son-Goku becomes young again, but many other characters as well, as a trailer now shows.
Dragon Ball DAIMA will be a new anime in the Dragon Ball universe. The anime is set to premiere in October 2024.
Here, Son-Goku and some other well-known heroes are transformed back into children by the dragon Shenlong. Thus, the anime returns a bit to its roots for its 40th anniversary.
You may have already seen Son-Goku in “mini format” in other trailers. However, a new trailer also shows other familiar characters who are becoming young again in Dragon Ball DAIMA:
Who does the trailer show? The latest trailer for Dragon Ball DAIMA features a young Vegeta and Piccolo alongside Goku. However, it seems that the young Kaioshin will have a larger role in this anime. At least, the trailer focuses on him in some scenes.
But you will also get a glimpse of new characters. We don’t know much about them yet, but there is a demon who accompanies Goku armed with a gun, and a doll-like creature.
Judging by the trailer, the main antagonist of Goku and Kaioshin in this anime could be a character who observes both from a distance during their adventures and first sends his people against them.
Which character is still missing? You have already seen a few familiar characters in “mini format”. However, fans are still speculating whether one of the strongest characters from the other animes will also appear in this one.
Fans miss Son-Gohan in “mini format”
We’re talking about Son-Gohan, the son of Son-Goku. Through his Beast Mode, he has become one of the strongest fighters. Many fans are wondering, among other things, on Reddit if he will appear in Dragon Ball DAIMA and also be younger. We still don’t know if he will appear in this anime. However, fans agree that he could be unbeatable in this case.
“Gohan at age 4 would be so powerful, especially if he had his adult consciousness and knew how to fight,” writes a user in their comment on Reddit. Another agrees that a 4-year-old Gohan would simply win.
Others would wish that Son-Gohan would just transform back into his teenage self, because then he would be simply lethal, a user writes in their comment.
