A skin is currently terrorizing the entire multiplayer of MW2 and MW3 in Call of Duty. It is so bad that players are even demanding its removal, despite some fans having spent money on it. We’ll show you which one is meant.
Which skin is meant? This refers to Gaia, the ‘Battle Pass’ skin from Season 6 that players can unlock in sector F11. The skin looks like Groot, the tree-like superhero from the Marvel universe.
And even though it probably represents his evil mother, the skin is despised by many players in multiplayer mode. The reason for this is the appearance of Mother Nature.
Mother Nature is the unfairest skin in CoD
Why is Gaia unfair? Looking at the skin, it becomes clear why the operator’s appearance should be banned. Normally, many skins in MW2 and MW3 have a specific style. They either go for camouflage, embody rappers or streamers, or take on absurd forms, like that of cats – but with Gaia, you get a walking tree.
On Reddit, players have shown how unfair Gaia is. Can you spot her?
This is displayed in gray-brown or just brown depending on the map, which mainly causes players to overlook the skin in battles and thus fall into a deadly trap. Additionally, the skin is hollow and has a slight reddish sheen that is almost impossible to notice.
Anyone who has unlocked Gaia in MW2 can also use the skin in MW3.
What do the players say about the skin? The majority of players speak out against the skin. They want Gaia removed so that fair conditions can prevail in CoD. Here’s the sentiment on Reddit:
- “No, it’s not a problem with the skills; those who use the skin have a problem with their skills. Relying on it to gain an advantage, lol, you losers.” – says Slapped_with_crumpet
- “This has been said for months in Warzone. Incredible that it [the skin] made it into MW3” – says SpicyFarter
- “No, it has to be removed” – demands Snivinerior2
- “This crap is actually broken. I understand that it’s a dead body and therefore doesn’t glow as bright as when it was alive, but this is just crazy. PLEASE make this skin glow orange and ensure that this glow covers its entire body – right now, it’s only in the chest area.” – No-Lavishness8593
Is the skin still available? Yes, the skin can still be obtained in MW2 before the start of the first season of MW3 if you unlock the Battle Pass up to level “F11”. However, to get the skin, you must have 1,100 COD points, which is equivalent to 9.99€. If you have the Battle Pass, you can unlock the skin through gameplay.
