Perfected Override
What can the weapon do? The Perfected Override fires self-replicating nanoparticles. These nanoparticles jump to the nearest enemy after the death of their host.
Why is the weapon so dangerous? With the expansion “The Dawning of the Iron Lords”, the raid Exo Override Primus was created. The successor to the weapon is the Perfected Override from Destiny 2.
The weapon fires self-replicating nanoparticles that latch onto their targets and theoretically take them over, disintegrate, or modify them. When humanity wanted to inhabit new planets, many passenger rockets were equipped with SIVA to set up camps quickly.
SIVA can disassemble and reassemble matter. This seems very practical, but when a Guardian turns this technology into a weapon, it becomes critical. Those who look at the Plagued Lands in Destiny 1 will see what happens to an environment and its living beings that do not have SIVA under control.
No wonder this weapon was in the Cryptarch’s vault on the Tower. If this technology were to go out of control, an entire planet and its living beings could be taken over and “improved”.
