In Battle Royale Call of Duty: Warzone, there have been several adjustments in the latest patch. One of them concerns one of the most important items.
Which item is it? The Loadouts have become more expensive. Their price has increased from $8,500 in the last patch to a whopping $10,000. This means that the item is now nearly twice as expensive as at the beginning, as Loadouts were available for $6,000 at Warzone’s release.
Why are Loadouts so important? Loadouts are arguably the most important item in the game because they grant you access to your own weapons along with associated equipment and perks. This is the only way to acquire perks in Warzone. Therefore, you should purchase Loadouts and two other items in every round.
The right Loadout can determine victory or defeat, as it allows you to choose not only which weapon you receive but also what attachments it has. On the map, you will only find pre-made versions. We have presented the best weapons and attachments for your personal Loadouts here.
The only items that are comparably important are self-revive and redeployment. However, this only applies if you are playing in a team and not in solo mode, as you will usually be killed immediately during revival and won’t be able to use redeployment at all.
Why are Loadouts becoming more expensive?
These were possible issues: The developers did not reveal how exactly the decision was made. Apparently, players simply have too much money too early to scoop up.
You can quickly earn cash through contracts and crates. If you use the contracts correctly, you can gather the Loadout in just a few minutes.
In group modes such as the new 4-player teams, it is even possible for players to pool their money and buy a Loadout together. This way, they can potentially get to the loot even faster as a team.
What are the consequences? Some fans have already reacted by saying that this decision is not a good one. It only leads to making it almost impossible for solo players to quickly obtain Loadouts, while groups would not notice significant delays.
It would have been more sensible to make costs dependent on the group size. This way, it would always be equally challenging to get your equipment. However, this would have relied more on utilizing the random drops that are airdropped and fighting for them.
