Gaming chairs come in various sizes and designs. They aim to be either very comfortable or offer additional features, such as integrated monitors, sound systems, or other cool features.
The online magazine The Verge has now tried out the Orb X from Cooler Master at Computex 2023. This is a huge device that takes up the space of a small room. With a price of $25,000, you currently can’t buy a more expensive gaming chair.

What do you see? In the video, you can observe how the editor from “The Verge” gets into the chair and then controls the system with a remote. After she sits down in the chair, she lowers the top part of the chair with the remote. Here, a curved 34-inch monitor is mounted.
The Verge says it is quite a cool gadget, even if you look “like a sci-fi villain”. If that’s not enough for you, you can enjoy plenty of RGB lighting on the device. The chair is said to be “made for people who love gaming and hate everyone else.”
What should you consider if you really want the device? A gaming system is not included. So you will need to budget a few thousand euros for a powerful gaming PC on top of the $25,000 for the chair so that the chair is worthwhile.
Additionally, you should note that the item is not exactly light. Cooler Master itself states that the chair weighs 343.5 kg. This is not necessarily lightweight, and you won’t be able to place it in every apartment.
With dimensions of 1.881 m x 1.810 m x 2.088 m, the chair is not exactly small, and you should have enough space at home.
