In Fortnite: Battle Royale has once again changed the map since update 9.30. The big monster has struck again and decoration for a summer festival event is now here.
From time to time, Epic uses the weekly update to change things on the map. This was also the case recently with update 9.30. Changes have been made to the following locations, which likely relate to the monster that escaped from Polar Peaks some time ago and has since been flattening places on the map without being seen.
This is what the map looks like now
This is how Loot Lake has changed: The biggest change the monster has wreaked havoc on Loot Lake. The factories in the west have been completely devastated. You will also find a massive footprint of the beast there. Additionally, the cable lines to Neo Tilted have also been affected.

This is what has happened in Paradise Palms: Here is a small change to note. John Wick’s house is still there and has been modernized with a solar panel.

This is what Pleasant Park looks like now: The large, modern house is still a pile of rubble. But other buildings in the area have likely suffered from the monster’s attention.
The changes to the Stone Family: The Stone Family has moved again and their dog is busy with trees.

The new building is growing: North of Fatal Fields stands a strange structure that has now gained another floor. You can also find a chest there now.

These are the changes for the upcoming summer festival event: Decorations for beach parties have now appeared in various locations on the map. Especially at Lazy Lagoon and Paradise Palms, they can be found. Additionally, huge beach balls can be scattered around there. You can push them around and roll them.
The beach party locations and especially the balls play a role in the upcoming event “14 Days of Summer”. Leaks have already appeared regarding this. The release is not yet certain, but since the locations are already in the game, it shouldn’t be long now.
