The days of the MOBA Paragon are numbered. In a few months, the servers will go offline. But at least there is a big compensation.
Many games tried to ride the MOBA hype of recent years and put their own twist on the genre. Paragon failed at this task. Despite regular updates and the free-to-play model, it could not retain enough players. Therefore, Epic Games has now announced that Paragon will be discontinued on April 26, 2018. The servers will then be shut down and the game will no longer be accessible.
The developers apologize for disappointing the players’ trust and for not being able to make Paragon the game they promised despite their best efforts.
However, Paragon has a big compensation for all players who invested money: All costs will be refunded upon request. No matter what you bought in the game for real money, Epic Games will refund the full amount upon request.

Alternatively, it is also possible to exchange the invested money for V-Bucks in Fortnite to secure a little boost there.

Paragon had high ambitions back then, launched with an alternative “full-price” version, but could not establish itself in the market. Throughout the approximately 18 months, Paragon was unable to retain any player group long-term and faced low player numbers shortly after launch.
This, in turn, negatively impacted matchmaking, further increasing the frustration of the remaining players. A vicious cycle from which Paragon could not escape.
Some time ago, Epic Games explained that they are reallocating resources from Paragon to invest in Fortnite.
