The developers of Elder Scrolls Online have announced a new event where players can snag great rewards, and the strength of their character does not matter.
What kind of event is this? The developers of ESO have launched the housing competition “Welcome Home.” It’s not about how strong your character is, but how well you can decorate your home in the MMORPG. From now until June 6, 2025, interested parties have time to submit their housing creations to the developers.
However, the competition is not just about the best housing; the developers have announced ElderScrollsOnline.com four categories, each awarded with prizes.
- Cozy Guest Rooms: small places, coziness
- Secret Gardens: enchanting outdoor spaces
- Celebration: time to celebrate!
- Top-tier Creations: Creations from scratch by master home enthusiasts who want to showcase their talent
From all submissions, the developers will select one main winner and two runner-ups in each category. They can look forward to generous prizes.

Attractive Prizes for the Winners
What do the winners receive? The winners of each category receive an extensive grand prize. They get 12 months of ESO Plus, an additional 19,800 crowns, and 10 luxury furnishing items of their choice. Additionally, they will have the opportunity for a video chat with the developers’ housing team.
A piece of art signed by the developers will also be sent to them. The winners and their respective homes will also be showcased in a video on ESO’s official social media accounts.
The runner-ups also will not leave empty-handed. They will receive 6 months of ESO Plus along with 9,900 crowns, a signed screenshot, and five luxury furnishing items of their choice. All winners will additionally receive a player home and one or two house guests of their choice.
