The MMORPG The Quinfall aims to provide insight into its current development status with a new video. This time, the focus is on the cities and villages.
What is the status? After the indie MMORPG The Quinfall had raised concerns for many players, it has been trying to prove with various videos for some time that these worries are unfounded. Essentially, the concern was that the MMORPG could become the next The Day Before. After all, it promised a lot, almost too good to be true.
A new video now showcases some of the different cities and villages in the game:
What videos are already available? This video about the cities and villages is not the first video the developers of The Quinfall have uploaded on YouTube.
- Initial videos introduced Housing and Crafting.
- Another video showcased the animal companions and mounts.
- Most recently, a video presented the caravan system.
What does the world of The Quinfall look like? Now you can take a look at the first cities and villages in The Quinfall. In the video, you won’t just be taken through lifeless areas. NPCs and animals are everywhere.
Since it is known from previous videos that the map of the MMORPG will be very large, it is hardly surprising that the different areas in the game are also extremely diverse.
In short scenes, the developers race through the individual cities and villages. Here, it must be noted that the character actually runs through them and the various cuts change very quickly.
So, it’s not exactly a relaxed “sightseeing tour.” If you want to take a closer look at an area with all its details, you probably have to pause the video at the right moment.
However, what can be seen looks pretty good at first glance. The versatility is really interesting. For example, large, snow-covered fortresses or small towns and villages made of half-timbered houses are shown.
In addition to these Western, medieval-inspired areas, Viking villages with typical wooden huts or desert camps full of tents are also showcased. You can also see desert cities or port areas here. Some of these were already known from previous videos.
Above all, there is a sense that the developers have drawn inspiration from the real styles of various cultures and buildings.
The cities and villages also differ in their geographical features. Some extend over a hilly landscape full of winding paths, while others stretch over flat areas with quite linear and angular paths and shapes.
While The Quinfall still has to really start, another MMORPG is closing down. But some see this as their opportunity: MMORPG ArcheAge is closing: 2 private servers see their chance to do it better
