Everywhere there are new quests and NPCs wanting something from you. Quickly, your quest log looks like a phone book. With the new update 39, ESO is set to receive some quality-of-life adjustments that will make the quest system and entry into the game clearer.
In the official ESO forum, the developers provided an overview of the changes that the MMORPG will receive with the free update.
Numerous quests visible only from a minimum level
How does ESO want to make the quest system clearer? In the forum, the developers write that they have revised many quests in large cities so that they only appear later.
For example, now “The Prophet” and other main quests of the base game will only appear in chapter and DLC cities after players have reached at least level 5 and completed the first quest in the respective zone story.
Various introductory quests such as “Room Available” (to begin with housing) will also only become visible from a certain level. The same applies to the quest givers for daily tasks for the warrior and mage guilds.
In addition, they are now introducing so-called “Navigator Quest Pins” in ESO, which indicate whether tracked quests lead you to a location where you have quests.
In addition to some changes to the quest system, ESO will also receive new Cyrodiil monster masks, new markings for the face and body, and new achievements for existing content with update 39.
