In the MMORPG Crowfall, a series of events has started, allowing players to increase their stats. The game hasn’t really launched yet.
What are these events? The event series “Trial of the Gods” aims to honor the gods of the game world and offers Crowfall fans some benefits. Currently, the event “Trial of Gaea” is taking place.
- The event runs until September 3rd
- You can participate if you have a Crowfall account and your character has reached level 20 in the current alpha
- You participate in the Trial-campaign
- You must eliminate other players and craft items with “Sacrifice” value during the campaign
- If you are ranked for your actions, you will receive a reward
- Players receive a “Gold Sigil of Gaea” or a “Silver Sigil of Gaea” depending on placement, which increases the Stat Harvesting Efficiency. This means you will consume less stamina when gathering resources

Events Before the Launch
What is interesting about the event? Crowfall is currently still in alpha. An event that boosts stats through an item may therefore seem a bit premature. For many, the interesting MMORPG hasn’t officially launched yet, but events are already taking place that promise participants advantages.
In principle, you are already “leveling” your hero’s stats through the events by collecting the rewards and thus the boost that you can also use later.
Furthermore, this event already gives a glimpse of the type of occurrences you can expect even after the official launch of Crowfall.
Will there be a wipe? The developers have stated that there will be at least one wipe as part of the soft launch of the game before the MMORPG officially goes live. All items and characters will be deleted.
Will the reward disappear as well? The event description states that the reward is considered a backer reward and will be available again after a wipe.
So anyone who joins Crowfall now and participates in the event can gain advantages for the official launch through the “stat boosts”.
Community Wants the Boosts
How is the event received in the community? The Crowfall fans generally find the event positive. Many want the item to get the stat boost. Initially, it was just unclear what would happen in the event of a wipe.
