What is in Atoraxxion? In a video, developers from Kakao Games presented new information about the upcoming co-op dungeon Atoraxxion in Black Desert Online.
- It is a co-op dungeon for 5 players.
- Teamwork is essential to solve the battles and especially the numerous puzzles in the ancient facility.
- Atoraxxion consists of four themes in total: Desert, Ocean Depths, Canyon, and Forest.
- First, the themes Desert and Ocean will be completed and implemented.
- On PC, there will be an increased difficulty level for more loot, requiring stats of AP 280/DP 340.
- Console players will first have to settle for the standard difficulty.
What is the story behind Atoraxxion? Fans of the story and the background world of Black Desert Online will also find what they are looking for here. Atoraxxion is an ancient facility where the famous seer Rux Maha Dehkia forged weapons against the dark spirits in ancient times. But after he had a falling out with his four students, everything fell apart and Atoraxxion was forgotten.
However, the white witch Illezra has rediscovered Atoraxxion and seems to have her own plans for the facility. In a larger quest, your heroes visit Atoraxxion and attempt to fathom the secret of the facility and uncover Illezra’s plans.

What do players like about Atoraxxion? On reddit, there was mostly positive feedback about the video with information about the new dungeon:
- CoalaRebelde says: ‘I’m looking forward to it. I currently miss co-op content in BDO, and I’m glad the developers are thinking about it.’
- A1000FlyingClouds hopes for good loot: ‘If dungeons are worth my time and I have to play well, then I could grind them forever. I just want good loot and for it not to be a walk in the park.’
- Pustulioxd69 is looking forward to things he can do with friends: ‘It should be so much fun that you stay up late with friends and coordinate on Discord while knowing you’re working towards something meaningful.’
- Bowdownson just needs one small thing: ‘It looks amazing, I just need four friends now!’
