Rank 1: Yasha
Even though Yasha only meets the Mighty Nein in the finale of the first season, she can still be considered part of the team, even if viewers may not yet know what role she actually plays. She can already be seen in the series’ intro, where she readies herself for battle alongside the other allies of the group.
Yasha is an absolute powerhouse. As a barbarian, she has proven in various scenes of the first season why the rumors surrounding her given title “Orphan Maker” create such fear among the population.
No matter how many people charged at her, not a single one could lay a finger on Yasha or survive long enough to report about the encounter.
However, Yasha is not without flaws or weaknesses. In her scenes, it becomes clear that she, like Fjord and Molly, is driven or controlled by something else that manipulates her feelings and makes her the stoic killing machine.
But that makes Yasha even stronger, in my opinion. At the very end of the first season, you see how desperate Yasha is when her connection is briefly interrupted and how ready she is to ask for help. And that is not a weakness but a sign that there is even more behind the eerie woman known as “Orphan Maker”.
These were all the members of The Mighty Nein if they had to be ranked by their strength. If it were purely about personality or charm, everyone would deserve first place in their own way. The first season of The Mighty Nein has not been over for long, and yet the joyful news has already been announced that they won’t have to wait long for the second season: As soon as the finale of the first season of “The Mighty Nein” was released, Critical Role revealed the first information about season 2
