Rank 2: Caleb
Caleb may not have become the expected number 1 on the list, but he is still one of the most dangerous members of the Mighty Nein. In several moments of the first season, the wizard proves that he is not to be trifled with. Fun seems to be initially a low priority for Caleb, far behind gathering components, mourning his old throuple, and hating himself.
Caleb has a deeply tragic past that made him the broken man we meet in the first season of the series. Nevertheless, he possesses enough drive to regain his strength, even if that drive is absolutely not healthy.
As a wizard, he doesn’t have much resilience, but he is used to taking a lot, whether from hard training at his former academy or from the traumatic events that emotionally dulled him.
When Caleb fully unleashes his true potential, he can become an extremely serious threat to his opponents, as evidenced by several situations from the first season. And Caleb has stated himself that this is just a fraction of his true abilities.
Caleb has therefore almost reached the top of this list and could win it for himself in future seasons. However, there is another person who truly has it in them, and no one would dare to take that victory from her.
