The MMO Lord of the Rings Online will no longer be continued in Russia. Mail.ru is parting ways with the MMO.
The fantasy MMORPG Lord of the Rings Online has been on the market for many years, starting as a competitor to World of Warcraft with a subscription model, it has long been Free2Play and this ring still has not reached Mount Doom, with every update coming one step closer to the end of the story.
In the future, this will happen without the Russian players. Their publisher Mail.ru will cease service on June 1. It was an epic journey, they say, but like all journeys, this one must also come to an end. Contracts have expired. The project will be terminated. It has not been disclosed whether Mail.Ru has parted ways with Warner Brothers or Warner Brothers from Mail.ru.
