The fantasy MMO Lord of the Rings Online has been around for 10 years, and to celebrate the anniversary, the developers are throwing a big party for you with the Hobbits! There are also quests and rewards for loyal players.
If there’s one race in Middle-earth that knows how to celebrate, it’s the Hobbits! That’s why the merry Halflings are hosting the big bash for the 10th anniversary of the fantasy online role-playing game in their town of Hobbiton.
There will be fireworks, quests, events, and rewards for loyal players!
Lord of the Rings Online – 10th Birthday – Off to Hobbiton!
To join the big party, you need to head to the Shire and visit the little town of Hobbiton. The busy Hobbits have already prepared everything, and you can pick up quests from Waldemar Rumpel at the festival tree until July 13.
There will be three new quests each week for the event, so make sure to check back often!
To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Lord of the Rings Online, all players will also receive gifts. These will be directly added to your inventory, even if you log in only after the event ends. The amount of the reward depends on when you registered for HdRO.
Those who have only been around for just under a year will receive a special character portrait and fireworks. However, those who have been players of The Lord of the Rings Online from the start and registered their account ten years ago will receive a particularly splendid portrait and a permanent dragon-firework. Premium and VIP customers will receive even more goodies.
