In a battle royale like Call of Duty: Warzone, players fight for victory. Only the team that is still alive at the end wins. Correspondingly, all other teams are eliminated during a round. However, something unimaginable happened to one player, and he survived along with a foreign team.
This is how the player lost in Warzone: A player shared a video from Call of Duty: Warzone on Reddit, in which he mysteriously lost a match. He wrote: “[The] lobby forgot that I exist.”
The video shows the final seconds of a match in the battle royale. The Reddit user “kschwa7” is playing solo and has no teammates to support him. He looks through the scope of his HDR and spots a player named “Robin” who is fighting another opponent and eliminates him.
kschwa7 takes two shots at his opponent. While the first shot might have just gone over the shoulder, the second is a sure hit to the head – yet nothing happens. The hit apparently was not counted. Shortly after, his opponent despawns, and the final kill cam and end sequence of the battle royale follow.
The kill cam shows the spectacle that kschwa7 earlier saw through his scope: Robin’s kill on a third competitor. In the background, kschwa himself can be seen – kindly highlighted by Call of Duty with a yellow-black “YOU” wording.
The match is over, kschwa7 has lost. Robin is the winner.

Nasty Bug Steals the Well-Deserved Victory
How is this possible? Actually, it is not possible; it is clearly a game bug. The Reddit user was robbed of his victory due to a bug. His shot from the HDR should have taken down his opponent and secured the win.
Some players comment on the incident on Reddit. One writes: “Damn, he’s new.” Another replied: “The most extraordinary bug I’ve seen in a long time.”
However, some players report that the bug is actually not new at all. The error is said to have occurred in the original Warzone, when players first fought for survival in Verdansk. Another user even experienced this on Vondel.
Now, with the Return of Verdansk in Season 3, it seems this bug has returned as well.
