This week, the quest for the exotic rocket launcher Truth is live in Destiny 2. The new weapon is tied to a long quest line. Strangely, this can be shortened, as players have discovered.
What is Truth? Truth is a new exotic rocket launcher that players can earn again in the Season of Opulence. The weapon is tied to a simple but lengthy quest line, which came into the game this week with the reset.
As players have found out, a complex quest step can be shortened. Guardians assume it might be a bug or glitch, but are not quite sure.

How does the shortcut work? After the first few quest steps for Truth, it is the players’ task to decode four map fragments. To do this, Guardians must follow the clues and visit a series of planets.
However, some of the fragments also appear at Petra Venj in the Dreaming City under “Abandoned Quests”. The reason for this is unclear. However, players assume that one must have found at least one map fragment themselves for the other pieces to appear in Petra’s inventory, which can then be collected from her.
This allows the quest to be shortened significantly. However, it seems to be a bug or glitch. Bungie might fix this error quickly.
What does the quest usually look like? You receive the quest for Truth when you visit the Menagerie this week. The quest line requires a total of six different steps, which are not difficult, but incredibly time-consuming.
