The Horde in World of Warcraft is currently not doing well. After Sylvanas, it is now losing another leader in Patch 8.3.
With the cinematic for the conclusion of Patch 8.2.5, a time of change has begun for the Horde in World of Warcraft. Apparently, there will no longer be a Warchief, instead, they plan to establish a council of the Horde races, which will then decide together on future plans and steps. However, a certain leader, aside from Sylvanas, has disappeared in Patch 8.3: the Goblin chief Gallywix.
Where has Gallywix gone? In Patch 8.3, it becomes clear that Gallywix has also fled after Sylvanas’ disappearance. He escaped the city along with the rest of “Sylvanas’ inner circle”. Where exactly he is headed is not known.
What is said? The short dialogue that takes place between Thrall and Gazlowe goes as follows. We have translated it from English:
Thrall: Gallywix left the city along with Sylvanas’ inner circle. This leaves the Bilgewater cartel without a trade prince. Gazlowe, it was your cleverness and ingenuity that built the walls of Orgrimmar. I can’t think of anyone I would trust more to take over as leader.
Gazlowe: A cartel is not a clan or tribe, Thrall. Steam pressure, Bilgewater… it doesn’t matter who delivers the money – as long as the payment is good. “Under new management” is just another way of saying “A good opportunity.” So, sure… we have a deal!
Thrall: Can you be sure that none of the goblins here are still being paid by Gallywix?
Gazlowe: Oh, I can even guarantee you that they still will be. That’s exactly why I will pay them more than that miser!
Gallywix played an important role: Gallywix was the first leader to come into contact with Azerite, long before Sargeras drove his sword into Azeroth.
Only through him was it possible to shape Azerite into weapons so quickly and draw attention to this new resource. Where he has now fled to, what his plan is, and whether we will see him again in the near future remains to be seen.
