In Destiny 2 , veterans are currently raving about the game with Forsaken. There is just so much to do. Even though it is still the honeymoon phase, many things really seem to be better now.
What is meant by honeymoon? In Destiny 2, the Guardians are generally in a really good mood. The only thing that bothers them is this “honeymoon” feeling. The fear of eventually waking up from the joyful buzz and then being disappointed.
Just like at the release of Destiny 2, the players were also excited, until they realized that there wasn’t much left waiting for them after the campaign.
Now with Forsaken, the atmosphere is similarly euphoric as in September 2017. Most Guardians are still deep into the game after a week and notice that Destiny 2 continues to open up as they reach Power Level 500 and complete the campaign.
Bungie continues to build on these expectations. The raid chief tweeted days ago that the first patch is just the tip of the iceberg of what awaits the players.
What do the Guardians love about Forsaken? On reddit, a player explicitly praises Forsaken for the following points:
- The campaign
- The new weapon slots
- The new weapons (especially bows)
- Gambit is fantastic
- The lore expansions are insane – finally, there’s an in-game grimoire
- The Crucible is good
- The Dreaming City is the best zone in the game so far
But with caution: Even the completely euphoric Guardian ends his praise with a honeymoon warning: I don’t know how I will feel in a month, but for now, I’m totally in love again.
Guardians are now waiting for the raid: The post on reddit receives a lot of agreement.
Users say they can hardly remember the last time they felt so eager to play Destiny as they do at the moment.
Even the game’s critics, who have hardly said a good word about Bungie for over a year, are currently at least mild.
Ultimately, many want to wait with the celebrations until the raid opens. Here the Guardians have high expectations. Because for hardcore PvE players, the raid determines long-term motivation.
