What kind of game is this? Mafia: The Old Country is a third-person action-adventure where you play as Enzo Favara fighting to survive in the brutal underworld of Sicily around 1900.

Den of Wolves
What kind of game is this? Den of Wolves is a coop shooter developed by 10 Chambers. 10 Chambers is the studio behind the coop shooter GTFO and was founded in 2015 by Ulf Andersson, who is regarded as the creator and mind behind the Payday franchise.
When will the game be released? The shooter Den of Wolves was already announced in December 2023. The latest trailer features the text “Early Access 202…”. So it is still unclear when the game will be released. On Steam, you can already add it to your wishlist.
Helldivers 2 – Omens of Tyranny
What kind of game is this? Helldivers 2 is a coop shooter that had its release for PC and PS5 in February 2024. Unlike its predecessor, you play here from a third-person perspective. In the update “Omens of Tyranny”, the third enemy faction is introduced – fulfilling a wish that players have had since February 2024.
When will the game be released? At the end of the trailer, “Out Now” is displayed – the update is already out.
Steel Hunters
What kind of game is this? Steel Hunters is an upcoming shooter from Wargaming – the developers behind World of Tanks. It is a mix of extraction shooter and battle royale, where you control powerful steel mechs called ‘Hunters’.
When will the game be released? Currently, no exact release date is known, but you can already test the Hunters in a closed beta starting December 13. There are 7 Hunters available. You can sign up on the website for the test.
Borderlands 4
What kind of game is this? The Borderlands series is getting a sequel with Borderlands 4. The trailer promises a hefty dose of action, numerous weapons, and cool creatures. And even the little snippet shown at gamescom 2024 was better received than the Borderlands film adaptation.
When will the game be released? The trailer only announced that the new installment will be released in 2025. On the official website of the game, you can already add it to your wishlist.
Elden Ring Nightreign
What kind of game is this? Elden Ring is getting new content with Nightreign, which is supposed to be “standalone”. The co-op mode is meant to be at the center here. In the trailer, you see the “Nameless King” boss from Dark Souls 3, who apparently plays an important role.
When will the game be released? There is currently no exact release date known. The trailer shows that it is scheduled for release in 2025.
The Witcher 4
What kind of game is this? The Witcher series is possibly one of the most well-known role-playing titles ever. On Steam, Witcher 3 has a total of 96% positive reviews. The trailer for The Witcher 4 focuses on Ciri, whom players know from the predecessor. In the new installment of the series, she is the protagonist.
When will the game be released? The trailer only shows that The Witcher 4 is planned. There is no release date yet.
Rematch
What kind of game is this? Rematch is a football game where you prove your skills in 5v5 matches. The game comes from the studio behind Sifu, the playable martial-arts film where you seek vengeance for your master’s death as a student.
When will the game be released? Rematch is set to be released in summer for PC (Steam), Xbox, and PlayStation.
Slay the Spire 2
What kind of game is this? This is the sequel to the roguelike deckbuilder Slay the Spire, which was released in January 2019. On Steam, 96% of reviews are positive, making the first part classified as “extremely positive”. In the game, you create a unique deck and encounter bizarre creatures.
When will the game be released? The second part is expected to start in early access in 2025. On Steam, it is already listed.
Dave the Diver: In the Jungle
What kind of game is this? Dave the Diver is a single-player adventure RPG, where you explore the mysterious and sometimes very dangerous deep sea as a diver during the day, as the name suggests. In the evenings, you have your catches prepared for the sushi restaurant and manage the local business. In the new DLC, Dave embarks on a new adventure – this time, it’s into the jungle.
When will the game be released? Dave the Diver: In the Jungle is set to be released in late 2025.
During the Game Awards, the award for Game of the Year (GOTY) will also be presented. This year, Astro Bot received the award.
