The CEO and founder of Chrono Odyssey is eager to know how players find his new MMORPG and what his team still needs to work on. He even stays awake for 24 hours and personally communicates with the players.
Who is it about? BongGun Bae is the founder and CEO of Chrono Studio, the development studio currently creating the new MMORPG Chrono Odyssey. Last weekend was particularly special for him, as a large number of players were allowed to try his MMORPG for the first time.
As he explains on X.com (formerly Twitter), he was very interested to see what players had to say about his MMORPG. According to his own statement, he took a lot of time to watch “every stream on Twitch and YouTube.”
On Sunday, the last day of the closed beta test, the CEO reportedly stayed awake for almost 24 hours to follow the players’ feedback in real time and to observe their reactions. Additionally, the CEO tries to respond to many of the messages, as he reveals on X.com. However, the feedback he receives is not only positive.

Mixed feedback for the new MMORPG
How did the MMORPG perform? The beta test of Chrono Odyssey had mixed results. Players criticized the optimization and performance of the game, graphical elements such as light and shadow, as well as gameplay elements.
However, the MMORPG received praise for its gameplay and its old-school character, which doesn’t just send players from quest hub to quest hub and rewards the reading of descriptions and texts in the game. MeinMMO expert Karsten Scholz also praises some points of the new MMORPG.
How did the CEO take the criticism? The CEO has already learned a lot from the feedback from the beta and has had long discussions with his deputy about many points. They want to inform in the future through videos, developer news, and announcements about their steps.
Elsewhere, the CEO has already stated that aspects of the game need significant improvement and that the version players played was not up to date. In the current post on X.com, the CEO also announces another beta that will showcase further features and improvements.
That the CEO of Chrono Odyssey is personally so invested in the players’ feedback and sees himself responsible for creating a good MMORPG will likely please many players. However, the CEO has not yet revealed when the new beta will start.
