In World of Warcraft, the barber is expanding his range of services. Changing skin color will soon also fall under his services.
The latest patch of Battle for Azeroth is likely to please players of World of Warcraft, as the barber is getting a new area of responsibility. In addition to adjusting hairstyles, beards, piercings, or tattoos, there is currently another function: adjusting skin color.
Those who wish can soon give their character a new skin tone via the barber. Winter is over and the pale mage’s face is seeing some sun? Just head to the barber! The same applies to anything that counts as skin – for example, the furs of the pandas, taurens, or worgen.
The barber’s tasks were already changed in a previous update. Because in addition to adjusting skin color, they can also straighten crooked spines and thereby allow orcs to walk upright!
No more duckface for blood elves
But there are more changes that will likely please players of male blood elves quite a bit.
Since the new character models in Warlords of Draenor, players of the blood elves have voiced numerous complaints that the faces look a bit “silly” – as if they were always making their best “duckface” for the camera.
On Reddit, some players even joke that the elimination of the duckface is a “fair trade” for losing what is probably the most powerful racial ability in the game.
Please keep in mind that both adjustments are based on information from the Alpha and may change before the release in August.
What do you think about these two changes? Do you think it’s good that you can now also change skin color at the barber? How do you like the adjustments to the faces of the blood elves?
