The first exhausted souls have completed the hardest grind of WoW Classic. PvP Rank 14 has been achieved – but what are the players doing now?
World of Warcraft Classic has become famous for some grinds. However, for no task in Azeroth must one prove as much endurance as for the farming of Rank 14 in PvP. The first players have now finished this hellish work and can adorn themselves with the best PvP weapons and the corresponding title of Rank 14 since today. But what are these players doing now?
What makes “Rank 14” so hard? In order to achieve Rank 14 in WoW Classic, you must fully devote your life to PvP for many weeks. Anyone who spends less than 16 hours a day on PvP or lacks the endurance to push through this grind without a break can hardly achieve Rank 14 legally.
That was probably also the reason for a particularly high number of PvP bots in WoW Classic, who have amusingly acted against the players.
This is what Rank 14 players are doing: On Reddit, some players are now posting their success and a screenshot as proof that they have achieved Rank 14. For example, the user Nekrage writes about his photo: “It’s done. Sleep is in my future.”
Another player, khairi_mh writes that he has finally fulfilled a childhood dream and can now finally enjoy the game again.
Were bots used? Some comments speculate that everyone who has currently reached Rank 14 must have used a bot at some point. If you don’t do that, then other players with bots, which basically have 24-hour coverage, would have an advantage.
Other players argue that back then, some “crazy” players grinded through and that it is the same again now. The corresponding players also have other users backing them up who can testify to having seen those characters constantly in battle and actively.
Some respond to the question of what one would do now, since everything has been achieved in PvP, with the well-known quote from the WoW South Park episode:
“Play the game.”
Not everyone was lucky: A few especially unfortunate players woke up today to this announcement, like the dwarf Yogg:
He is just short of Rank 14, but it is not enough. So he has to farm at least one more week in PvP, farm and farm some more.
