The developers of Total War: Warhammer 3 (Steam, Epic Games Store) have announced the first information about the next DLC. One of the three new legendary commanders has also been briefly introduced: a seductive snake woman with 6 arms.
Where does this information come from? It comes from a dev chat of the developers at Creative Assembly on YouTube. Among other things, it discusses new patches and the last beta that was supposed to adjust the campaign AI. However, the most interesting information for many was probably about the new DLC.
As expected, after Tzeentch, Nurgle, and Khorne, it is finally Slaanesh’s turn to be supplied with new content. The Chaos God of decadence, lust, and excess is still only represented by one faction in the game.

Dechala, the Denied One for the new DLC confirmed
What new content has been announced so far? Of the 3 new factions of the DLC, one has already been announced: Slaanesh is getting reinforcements from Dechala, who bears the title “The Denied One”.
This is what we already know about the new legendary commander:
- Dechala was once an elf, but her body has completely mutated: From the waist down, she has a snake body and her torso holds 6 arms, each wielding a sword.
- According to the developers, Dechala is a deadly fighter on the battlefield, striking quickly and precisely and is very versatile.
- Dechala’s faction is the “Tormentors,” her starting position on the map is still unknown.

Creative Assembly has also introduced some new units:
- The “Champions of Slaanesh” have, like Dechala, a snake body, but only 4 arms. They take on a similar role on the battlefield.
- The “Pleasureseekers” are demonettes riding on powerful demonic snakes.
The developers haven’t shown any additional units yet, but they have shared a little more about how Dechala will play in the campaign. True to Slaanesh, Dechala focuses on domination over her enemies, but in an even more aggressive manner than N’kari’s faction.
Finally, Creative Assembly revised the two-headed demon Kairos in an update. Along with some changes to his gameplay mechanics, there is also a new skill tree for the wizard, which was very well received by Tzeentch fans.
