From August 23 to 27, 2023, gamescom will take place at the exhibition center in Cologne. You can already tackle the interactive role-playing game “EPIX” to increase the anticipation.
Soon it will be time again: gamescom opens for gaming enthusiasts, showcasing new games, old classics, and bringing gamers from around the world together.

You play as “EPI” and experience adventures in the gamescomVerse – a place of creativity, entertainment, and endless possibilities. Together with your sidekick TL:DR, you solve small puzzles, quests, and are always on the lookout for bugs.
In this text adventure, you will experience a story with EPI, which will receive more chapters in the coming weeks. The “gameplay” expands over time, and once gamescom starts, you can solve quests on-site to gather experience points for EPI.
As a reward, you can expect background images or special avatars. If you buy the “Loot Detector” for 3.99 euros, you can even snag cashable prizes. When you reach level 5 with EPI, you will receive a voucher for 5 euros for gamescomwear.
Free tickets have already been distributed for particularly fast players.
How does the game work? You need to create an account on the gamescom page and then you can solve quests for which you need to enter specific words. The answers can be found on the homepage.
The first questions include what EPI’s name is, what he doesn’t like, and what his little helper’s name is. For some quests, it is sufficient to take a closer look at the homepage and pages.
This way, you will learn more about gamescom, receive a few small rewards, and perhaps it will help make the time until the trade fair pass a little faster.
