When does the opening show of the gamescom start? Tonight at 8 PM, Canadian television host Geoff Keighley will kick off the fair with the “Opening Night.” He will guide us through a program lasting about two hours, showcasing new releases and highlights of already well-known games.

- Gears 5 – Premiere of the campaign
- Need for Speed Heat – Gameplay of the new racer will be shown
- Predator: Hunting Grounds – First gameplay of the online action game
For MMO and online game fans, especially Borderlands 3, CoD: Modern Warfare, Destiny 2, FIFA 20, Gears 5, and Predator: Hunting Grounds should be interesting. Disintegration may also offer an exciting multiplayer mode.
What else is there to see? In addition, Google wants to share more about the streaming service Stadia and there is a possibility that a Stadia-exclusive game will be presented. Stadia is also a very interesting topic for online players and thus represents one of the highlights of the show.
