The release of the Closed Alpha of Anthem is practically around the corner. We will show you how to register for the alpha to participate in the testing phase and be one of the first to play Anthem.
On the weekend of December 8th and 9th, the open-world shooter “Anthem” will enter its closed alpha phase. Those who want to participate can register on EA’s website. In this post, we will show you what to expect and how the registration process works.
Closed Alpha of Anthem, how to participate?
EA and Bioware stated that a testing phase will take place on December 8th and 9th. The special thing about this is that you do not need to pre-order the game to participate.

Who can participate in the Closed Alpha? Everyone can register for the test phase and then hope for luck to be selected. The closed alpha is not tied to pre-orders, EA Access, or Origin Access.
The testing phase has limited spots: You should hurry and register quickly, as the spots for the closed alpha of Anthem are limited. If you don’t get in directly, you will be placed on a waiting list.
How long can you register? Registrations for the test phase are open until the evening of December 3rd.
How to register for the Closed Alpha of Anthem
Registration takes place in a few simple steps:
- Go to EA’s playtesting page on ea.arcsivr.com
- Log in with your EA account
- Then select which platform you want to play on – PC, PS4, or Xbox One – only one is allowed
- In the next menu, you should indicate the times when you want to play on December 8th or 9th
- There are 4 testing phases, 2 on each day – you can sign up for all or just individual ones
- Once you have selected everything, you are registered
- Keep in mind that this is not a guarantee of participating in the alpha

How will I know if I was selected? If you are selected for testing, it will be displayed on the playtesting page in your profile. You should also receive an email that will show you instructions for downloading the alpha client.
Then you can look forward to this gameplay with super attacks
Why is the website so slow: The demand for this alpha test is expected to be very high. While registering, we noticed that the site sometimes takes several minutes to load a form. So give the registration some time.
Can I share the contents of the Closed Alpha? No. There is a strict NDA. So no posts, no sharing of images, no streaming.
