The First Descendant is designed as a loot shooter where players need to grind a lot. In addition to weapons and gear, a major aspect are the descendants, which you also need to grind. A player on Reddit has now shown that he managed to do it in less than 2 weeks.
What are descendants? Descendants are the classes in The First Descendant. Currently, there are 14 of them, of which you have three available at the start. In the game, you have to either dig into your wallet for the descendants or grind them painstakingly.
In addition to the normal descendants, there are also Ultimate versions of some. Currently, only Bunny, Ajax, Viessa, Gley, and Lepic have one. The Ultimates are better versions of these characters, which come with better stats. Consequently, the grind for these characters also becomes quite exhausting. However, a user on Reddit has now shown that it is also possible for free.

the user Phoenix-XY shows that he managed to unlock the Ultimate version of Lepic. According to his own statements, he did this without spending a cent and in less than 2 weeks.
For this, he receives praise from many parts of the community.

Others, however, criticize the game here as well, since the grind for other Ultimate versions is already enormous. Especially since many of the parts you need have a specific drop rate in missions. If you’re unlucky, you’ll have to replay the missions over and over again. The user Geraltpoonslayer complains, for example, about Ultimate Ajax.
It is also unclear how many hours the thread creator took to unlock Ultimate Lepic. However, in a comment, he mentions that he played in hard mode because the drop rates are higher there.
Also, the time spent crafting should not be underestimated, as that can also involve several hours of waiting time. The grind for equipment comes after that.
