Bunny currently ranks among the most popular descendants in The First Descendant. Therefore, we present you with a Bunny build that allows you to take out enemies while running past them.
What kind of build is this? Bunny uses electrical attacks to consistently deal damage to her enemies and also has fast movement. Most of her damage is dealt through her skills. The build is designed to leverage Bunny’s strengths and negate her weaknesses as much as possible. This means:
- We strengthen Bunny’s skills, especially “Lightning Strike” and “Light Speed”
- Lightning Strike deals damage to nearby enemies while moving and inflicts electric shocks on them.
- With Light Speed , sprinting speed is significantly increased, and Bunny charges more electricity.
- We increase health points and defense to compensate for her weaknesses.
Bunny Build – All Components at a Glance
If you want to know why we chose each component of the build, you will find explanations further down in the text. Here, we would like to provide you with an overview of the components used.
- Reactor: Electric Singularity Reactor (English: Tingling Singularity)
- External Components (More HP & DEF):
- Auxiliary Energy: HP Support Auxiliary Unit
- Sensor: HP Support Sensor
- Storage: Supernova Storage
- Processor: Supernova Processor
- Modules (for boss fights):
- Nimble Fingers
- Increased HP
- Electric Specialist
- HP Amplification
- Shock Wave
- Technician
- Antibodies (e.g. Poison Antibodies)
- Strong Mentality
- Increased DEF
- Spear and Shield
- Weapon #1
- Thunder Cage
How does the build work? Especially the increase in defensive values benefits Bunny’s gameplay so that you are not constantly on the ground hoping for help. Strengthening the skills and their range allows Bunny to quickly take out enemies by running past them with “Light Speed” and casting the ability “Lightning Strike”.
This build presented here is based on the recommendations of YouTuber Moxsy, who as a content creator has been playing other loot shooters like Warframe and Borderlands for years alongside The First Descendant.
Bunny Build – Reactor, External Components, and Modules
Reactor: Electric Singularity Reactor (English: Tingling Singularity)
Why this reactor? The “Electric Singularity Reactor” provides a boost to the strength of your electric abilities and fusion abilities. Since we focus on the skills “Lightning Strike” and “Light Speed,” the reactor enhances exactly the values we need.
In addition, you receive an additional 160% ability damage when you have the weapon “Thunder Cage” equipped by fulfilling the optimization condition.
External Components – More Life vs. More Damage
What do you need to pay attention to? To reduce Bunny’s weaknesses in defense, it is best to farm external components that either increase your health points (HP) or your defense (DEF).
When selecting your external components, you should also try to get a so-called double roll. The components can each enhance two different values, one being fixed and the other random. You want to enhance the same value on a component twice, for example, 2x HP or 2x DEF.

Should you farm specific components? Yes and no. Initially, your focus should be on maximizing your health points and defense. The parts you use for this are theoretically irrelevant.
However, there is a set that can be particularly worthwhile, the “Supernova” set. This has a nice set bonus and also increases your defense. Unfortunately, your health points are lacking.
- If you equip two parts of the Supernova set, it increases your modifier for your electric skill strength.
- If you have four equipped set parts, it additionally increases your modifier for your fusion skill strength.
- Additionally, through the set, enemies affected by an electric shock can be hit by a Lightning Strike that deals high damage.
So, if you feel that you need more damage and fewer health points, equip the Supernova set. However, if you want a bit more life alongside your DEF boost, take a mix of the two sets and increase both your DEF and HP.
This mix of sets could look like this:
| More HP & DEF | More Damage | |
| Auxiliary Energy | HP Support Auxiliary Unit | Supernova Auxiliary Unit |
| Sensor | HP Support Sensor | Supernova Sensor |
| Storage | Supernova Storage (boosts DEF) | Supernova Storage |
| Processor | Supernova Processor (boosts DEF) | Supernova Processor |
Modules
Why these modules? The modules are intended to enhance your skills or increase your defensive values. Which modules you equip also depends on whether you are farming and want to take out lots of small enemies quickly or if you are facing a boss fight.
These modules should be equipped:
| Enemy Groups | Boss Fights |
| Nimble Fingers (reduces skill cooldown) | Nimble Fingers (reduces skill cooldown) |
| Increased HP (increases max HP) | Increased HP (increases max HP) |
| Electric Specialist (increases electric skill strength) | Electric Specialist (increases electric skill strength) |
| Range Maximization (increases skill range) | HP Amplification (increases max HP) |
| / | / |
| Shock Wave | Shock Wave |
| Technician (increases skill strength modifier) | Technician (increases skill strength modifier) |
| Skill Enhancement (increases skill effect range) | x-Antibodies, e.g., poison or heat (increases resistance to effects) |
| Strong Mentality (increases MP recovery) | Strong Mentality (increases MP recovery) |
| Increased DEF | Increased DEF |
| MP Collector (restores MP when defeating an enemy) | Spear and Shield (increases DEF and skill strength) |
The two builds differ somewhat in maximum life as well as defense and skill enhancement. The boss build, in contrast to the build for small enemies, forgoes skill range and MP recovery. Instead, it possesses modules that further increase DEF and maximum health points.
Bunny Build: Weapons – These guns you should carry
In the Bunny build, weapons actually don’t play a big role, at least outside of boss fights. However, if you are wondering which weapons you should carry, we have some recommendations for you.
These weapons are recommended for your Bunny build:
- Thunder Cage – Submachine Gun – Ultimate
- Tamer – Machine Gun – Rare
- Glowing Sword
- Enforcer – Shotgun – Ultimate
This is what makes the Thunder Cage strong: The Thunder Cage can emit electric shockwaves when enemies are defeated with it. These deal additional damage to nearby enemies.
This is what makes the Tamer strong: The Tamer is just a rare machine gun, but it deals a lot of damage per second and has a lot of ammunition.
This is what makes the Glowing Sword strong: Shots against commanders or colossi increase the critical hit rate when weak points are hit. This allows Bunny and other descendants to deal good damage at long distance without using their abilities.
This is what makes the Enforcer strong: It can inflict electric shocks through the weapon’s special ability. When you hit enemies affected by the electric shock, it increases your firearm attack.
To get the most out of Bunny and have the strongest build possible, you need to farm a lot and gather the right components.
However, you can also further enhance Bunny if you unlock Ultimate Bunny. The special version of the sprinter can either be purchased in the shop for about 60 euros or earned through intensive grinding. How to get Ultimate Bunny for free, you can see here: The First Descendant: Unlock Ultimate Bunny – Here’s how you can get the sprinter and her improved version
