The first players can FIFA 20 already download and install it. The download size for Xbox One, PS4, and PC has been announced.
Update:
Who is downloading FIFA 20 already? In recent days, more and more users have been posting screenshots on social media showing that they can already download FIFA 20.
However, this is not possible on all platforms. Only Xbox One players seem to be able to do so at the moment, as these images show:

How is this possible? As several users confirm on reddit, it is quite normal for the Xbox One to download games this early. However, this is just a preload – you cannot play FIFA 20 yet.
Those who have preordered FIFA 20 on Xbox One can already download the necessary game data and wait nearly 4 weeks until it actually starts.
What is the download size: According to the screenshots, you need to prepare for around 43 GB. This is consistent with the information in the console stores:
- According to the Xbox Store, the approximate size of FIFA 20 is 43.9 GB
- According to the PS Store, you should expect a download of at least 44 GB
- In the Origin store for PC, it is rounded up to 50 GB in required hard drive space
The current preload on the Xbox One is an early build of FIFA 20. You can expect a Day 1 patch to be released. Nevertheless, you can already save time and download FIFA 20 in advance.
FIFA 20 Preload on PS4
When does the preload start on PS4? If you have preordered FIFA 20 for PS4, the preload (for the Ultimate Edition) will start on September 22, 2019.
You should also have enough time on the PS4 to download the necessary game data before the release on September 27 or September 24 with early access.
Other ways to play FIFA 20 in advance can be found here:
What about PC with Origin Access Premier? The preload date for FIFA 20 on Origin Access Premier is September 13, 2019, at 7 PM. This is probably the earliest date to download FIFA 20 on PC in advance:

Before you can play the full version of FIFA 20, you can test the demo in advance. This should start soon. You can find all the info about it here:
