5. The XP-54 – The all-round talent for the light class
The XP-54 offers a higher range than the competing submachine gun M11. This makes it often better suited when playing as a light in a team.
With a very high fire rate and 40 rounds per magazine, the weapon works well in combination with evasive sprinting and a playstyle focused on movement.
6. The sledgehammer – Deals a lot of damage and is a kill guarantee
Even though melee weapons usually don’t work in most shooters, it’s different in The Finals. The sledgehammer deals significant damage and can be used by heavies.
Due to the high HP of heavies, light and medium characters are prime targets for the hammer. You don’t even have to aim precisely when swinging, as your character has a sort of autolock to make it easier to hit opponents.
The hammer gets bonus points because it can go through walls without having to wait for cooldowns on explosives like C4 or similar.
7. The riot shield – No joke, just really annoying
Even though medium is not really the best class to rely on close combat, the riot shield is truly annoying for opponents. With the riot shield, you are really hard to hit and can easily take down individual opponents without resistance.
However, against groups and in team fights, the riot shield is rather difficult to use. Here you should probably hold back and heal your teammates or defend the vault with the riot shield as a last-second savior.
8. The throwing knives – Difficult to learn, but have an advantage
The throwing knives are probably the most difficult weapon in the game. They forgive hardly any mistakes, but their damage is immense.
Their infinite ammunition and silent projectiles allow one to inflict significant damage as a ranged assassin before the opposing team even knows where the damage is coming from.
The best way to use throwing knives is with evasive sprinting and a camo bomb. This way, you can escape if you get discovered and it gets hot.
9. The MGL32 turns the heavy into a demolition expert
The MGL32, with 6 rounds and sufficient range, is a good weapon for heavies. Together with the RPG-7 and C4, it provides a build that can devastate the battlefield in no time.
For opponents, this weapon is particularly difficult to counter, as it works most effectively when they have entrenched themselves with all means.
The MGL32 combined with the RPG-7 and C4 is particularly fun on the Seoul map, as there are many floors to bring down.
10. The SR-84 is very well suited in the right hands
The sniper rifle SR-84 is super effective against all classes. The weapon relies on steady hands as it is a bolt-action rifle with a low fire rate, but it can inflict a lot of damage on opposing teams at long distances without them being able to retaliate. A well-placed shot can also take out a light character.
Many barrels can also be exploded from a distance with the rifle. The resulting chaos often allows your team to eliminate opponents.
