The Finals has been out for almost three months now. Currently, the first season of the arena shooter is still running, but now Embark Studios has announced the release date for the upcoming second season of The Finals.
Additionally, the developers have released a new trailer that should show what players of the shooter can look forward to in the next season.
The Finals: Season 2 Start – When is it happening?
When is the release of Season 2? Season 2 of The Finals is set to start on Thursday, March 14, 2024. The exact time and whether the game will go offline for maintenance is not known.
So far, there have been updates where you were asked to perform the update after the round. In those cases, you could continue playing until the last moment.
The Finals: The trailer for Season 2 shows a new mode
What does the trailer show? The trailer for Season 2 shows a new map called “SYS$HORIZON.” It is a colorful city that features neon lights.
There is also a new game mode called “Power Shift,” which is played 5v5.

The Finals: Season 2 – New weapons, specializations, and gadgets
What new equipment is coming with Season 2? The Finals Season 2 brings three new weapons and gadgets into the game – one weapon and one gadget for each class.

What characterizes the new equipment? The light class receives the 93R. This is a pistol that fires in bursts, meaning it shoots multiple times with one click. Additionally, it gets the gadget “Portal Passage,” which allows for the creation of two portals for traversal.
The medium class receives a new assault rifle, the FAMAS. This is also a weapon that fires in bursts. The new gadget for the medium class is the “Data Transformer,” which transforms objects into other objects, for example, enemy mines into flower pots. Additionally, the class receives the “Dematerializer.” This is a specialization that allows you to pass through surfaces such as walls and ceilings without completely destroying them.
The heavy class receives the new KS-23 shotgun. On top of that, the heavy class gets the “Anti-Gravity Cube” as a new gadget, which negates gravity and allows players and objects to float.
