The new league in Path of Exile allows players to capture, display, and sacrifice monsters. There is already talk of a “Pokémon update.”
The free action RPG Path of Exile is entering its next round. With the new feature, players are able to catch monsters and sacrifice them for crafting powerful weapons and armor.

Challenge Leagues keep the content fresh
The leagues in Path of Exile represent “worlds” in which a character is active. A character cannot join two different leagues at the same time or communicate with characters outside their own league.
The Bestiary and Hardcore Bestiary League are challenge leagues designed to introduce and test new content for players.

They also refresh Path of Exile with new items.
Challenge Leagues are time-limited and usually last three to four months. Additionally, these leagues have specific tasks, known as challenges, that can be completed to earn more rewards.

At the end of a temporary league, the characters that participated are not deleted but transferred to one of the permanent leagues.
Sacrifice monsters for items
With the Bestiary League, Grinding Gear Games introduces the NPC Einhar Frey, who will assist players in becoming true hunters. The nets can be purchased from him.

Monsters that can be captured have a specific icon next to their name.
The captured monsters are marked as such in the Bestiary log and then transported to the Menagerie.
There, the player has the choice of how to use the beasts since sacrificing monsters on the Blood Altar grants access to “Beastcrafting.”

This feature allows the player to craft new items or modify old ones. Or to face the Elder if they feel like slaughtering a deity.
In addition to the normal creatures, there are also special legendary monsters that have more HP and strength. These are needed for special Beastcrafting recipes.

To catch a monster, in addition to a net, you also need some skill, as the lower the HP of a monster, the higher the chance it can be caught quickly.
Grinding Gear is currently conducting tests to see how well monster trading would work:
“We want to ensure that community trading sites can handle these new items and can test them thoroughly when we are ready to release them for trade.”
The players’ interest has been sparked
With the concept of the Bestiary League, it seems Grinding Gear has struck a chord with the community.

According to their own statement, the launch of the league was the most successful launch since the release of the game.
There were even queues when logging in, although not for too long.
