Players of the MMORPG Guild Wars 2 are already excited, as the Super Adventure Box returns on March 29.
From March 29 to April 19, a portal to Moto’s greatest achievement will open – the Super Adventure Box, as it’s “Super Adventure Festival” time again! This is a “game within a game” that is very well received by fans of Guild Wars 2.
A Game Within a Game
If you step through the portal, something very special awaits you:
- The Super Adventure Box (SAB) is basically a jump & run game
- Your level, class, attributes, and specializations don’t matter
- You jump through the colorful world and make sure not to lose any lives
- Along the way, you collect powerups and spheres. With spheres, you buy equipment and upgrades in the SAB worlds
- You find keys that open hidden chests
- SAB is available to you in three difficulty levels, all of which offer different rewards
The SAB is a seasonal event that many players of Guild Wars 2 are looking forward to, as there are plenty of rewards to be earned and it is simply one of the most interesting events in the game. Guild Wars 2 transforms into a colorful, fun jump ‘n run for a short time.
A Permanent SAB?
ArenaNet is currently considering permanently incorporating the SAB into the game and making it available to all players who pay for access with Infinite Continue Coins. However, this idea is not very well received. Many fans believe that a major appeal of the SAB is that the event is not constantly available and must be awaited. It then represents a welcome and interesting change, the appeal of which would quickly diminish if the SAB were always available.
Guild Wars 2 is regularly expanded with new episodes of the “Living Story”.
