In Destiny 2, an exploit is currently making the rounds that can bring players a lot of additional loot.

Here comes the exploit into play: Several players, like YouTubers “Jarv” and “Cheese Forever”, are currently pointing out a way to scoop up more loot than expected from the new dungeon “Prophecy”.
Prophecy is the third dungeon in the game, set in a distorted world. Up to three Guardians can team up in the dungeon to face the challenge there. In the end, there is a reward in the form of loot, such as:
- The new DAITO Forge armor
- A new version of the “Trials of the Nine” armor
Players suspect: This won’t last long
This is how players use the exploit: We don’t want to go into too much detail here, but basically, it goes like this. After the final boss of the dungeon is defeated, the loot is not collected.
Instead, one of the players swaps the character, resulting in gaining the checkpoint directly at the treasure chamber and being able to pick up the loot. This can likely be exploited multiple times through repetition. Thus, players can also farm XP and umbral engrams on the side.
This is what the community says: Among the fans, the issue is relatively clear. In the comments, it is referred to as a “game-breaking bug” – which from the perspective of many should mean it will be fixed by Bungie in the near future. Some even fear that the dungeon could disappear completely for a time before players can exploit it too much – and this is as the dungeon is set to vanish in sight. On YouTube, it sounds as follows:

Recently, there was an exploit that allowed AFK farming in the Black Armory Forges. Here, players were also able to simply secure umbral engrams – but that ended quickly again.
