The developers of the PvP MMO The Exiled (formerly Das Tal) announce that their game will soon enter Early Access on Steam.
About two years ago, there was a Steam Greenlight campaign, where 4,500 fans voted for The Exiled to be available on Steam. Now it is also confirmed when it will happen. The Early Access phase on Steam starts on February 23. Players will receive updates quickly through Steam and will only need to log in to the MMO with their regular Steam account.
The live operation starts soon
Starting February 23, the game will also go into live operation. It will run 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Limited-time alpha phases will be a thing of the past, as will invitations to testing phases.
You simply buy a support pack for the Early Access version of the game and get started – but not without first playing for free for seven days. During this test phase, you decide whether you like the game mechanics. If you do, you can buy one of the supporter packs. Depending on the price, these come with additional customization options for your heroes and other goodies, which do not provide any advantages in the game.
An MMO for PvP fans
Those who are already in as testers will soon receive Steam keys to test the Steam login before the version goes live on February 23. The Exiled is aimed at PvP players, as in the “Valley”, you fight against other players for your survival. In principle, the game could be described as a kind of PvP MMORPG with MOBA mechanics. If this interests you, you can check out The Exiled for free for the seven trial days starting February 23.
