The sandbox PvP MMORPG The Exiled, formerly Das Tal, is currently being translated by the developers into six languages.
The alpha of The Exiled is currently only playable in English. But that will change soon. Currently, translation work is underway into the six languages German, French, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, and Spanish. From now on, the patch notes for the game will also be available in these languages.
Translations are important
In addition, sub-forums for the mentioned languages are now available. There, you can talk to other players and the community managers in your native language. This way, it should also be easier for you to find teammates to start guilds, for example. Moreover, many players find it easier to play in their native language.
The development team is also currently planning to translate The Exiled into Russian and Turkish. More translators are still being sought for this. For the studio, this is a very big step. They are quite aware that they are catering to a niche with the game, but the fact that it will also be available in several languages helps to attract new players who want to play in their native language.
Translation work begins after the alpha
The translation work on the game will begin after the next alpha test, which takes place from December 1 to 21. Next year, the beta is coming, which could already be offered in at least six languages.
