The fantasy MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online has now roughly outlined dates for the future and stated when fans can expect information about the new DLCs.
Many had hoped that there would be a big package of news about TESO at E3 last month The Imperial City and the new zone Orsinium.
Dates and details were sought in vain. Fans are eagerly waiting for them. This should change soon, and later this month they want to talk more specifically about the next update: This will be a PvP update featuring the Imperial City, a change to the combat system, and an increase in the level cap. That much is already known.
The next big date announced is Quake-Con on July 24. A large panel with the key figures behind TESO development is to be held here.
Already a year ago at Quake-Con, some of the “biggest changes” were presented. Although even after a year, not all of them can be found in the game. There hasn’t been any news about some large ideas like spell weaving for a long time. The champion and justice systems, the two most important features, are not yet fully implemented in the game but are only in a preliminary stage: The console version came in between. In the meantime, they have already hinted that the development of the game will noticeably slow down compared to subscription times.
This year at Quakecon, they want to present the Imperial City in detail and announce news about the major updates.
News for The Elder Scrolls Online coming next week
But fans will not have to wait until July 24.
In the meantime, the German community manager Kai Schober had already hinted that on Monday, July 13, they would present the first details about the “Imperial City”. However, this has been retracted. Now it says: A bit later next week they will come forward with information. They are eager to share it.
