The new trailer gives players a first glimpse of the DLC Murkmire, which is set to release in late 2018 for The Elder Scrolls Online. With Murkmire, ESO Plus will also be enhanced. Members can look forward to more crowns each month and exclusive items. We show you the trailer for the DLC.
Dangerous wildlife. Murkmire will lead players into a brand new area filled with new quests and monsters. Black Marsh, also known as Argonia, is the homeland of the Argonians and is inhabited by dangerous plants and animals. It is considered a wild, untamed piece of land.
In this new zone, players will delve deep into the ancient Xanmeer ruins and uncover one of the greatest secrets of the Hists. The Hists are a species of trees that possess humanoid intelligence.
From these special trees, you can extract Hist sap. This special sap grants enormous psychic powers and is a popular drug among the Argonians.
Reptiles as mounts. With Murkmire, new mounts are also expected for The Elder Scrolls Online. A new creature can be seen in the trailer. It is a rideable lizard. Just right for an Argonian.

Murkmire as the highlight for ESO 2018
When is the DLC Murkmire coming? The DLC is expected in the 4th quarter of 2018.
Highly anticipated: Murkmire was high on the player’s wish list before 2018. With the new zone, Murkmire will likely be the highlight of 2018 alongside the new chapter Summerset.
More crowns for members
ESO Plus is getting better: Players who are ESO Plus members will receive 1650 crowns starting from the release of Murkmire instead of the previous 1500 crowns. Additionally, they can look forward to a free item every month. This boosts the value of the optional subscription somewhat, according to developer Zenimax Online.
Whether this will increase the value of the subscription in the eyes of players who only signed up for the practical crafting bag is debatable. However, for players who like to browse the crown store, the additional 150 crowns and the free item are quite handy.
