In the fantasy MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online, players will soon be able to face the trials cross-faction.
Three factions share the world of Tamriel. In practice, this leads to a problem: If you are a member of a guild and want to do something together, like tackle the challenging PvE tasks in the trials, you can only participate with characters that belong to the same faction as the others.
Many have created characters from different factions just for a change while leveling. Because depending on the faction, you have your own quest area up to level 50. So it makes sense to choose a different faction for your twinks – for variety’s sake.
You would love to support your friends with your healer, but you can only go with the tank or the damage dealer. This makes the already complicated raid planning unnecessarily more difficult.
With the DLC Thieves Guild, cross-faction raids are coming to The Elder Scrolls Online
With the next DLC “Thieves Guild”, the problem will come to an end. As Zenimax announced yesterday during their Steam show ESO Live, a small patch will be brought to the test server that allows cross-faction play in the trials. This will go live in March with the DLC for PC, PS4, and Xbox One at ESO Live.
With “Thieves Guild”, another trial is set to become part of The Elder Scrolls Online.
