Starting tomorrow, on Monday, May 22, some players of The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) will have the chance to play the new expansion Morrowind. But when does the launch of Morrowind actually take place? At what time does it start?
Morrowind brings the new class Warden and a stand-alone adventure on the island of Vvardenfell for all players, whether newcomers or veterans. This will be the first expansion for The Elder Scrolls Online at all – until now, there have only been free updates during the subscription phase, and later paid DLCs since 2015.
Two weeks before the release, PC players can start Morrowind
The actual release of TESO Morrowind is not until June 6, but for some, it starts two weeks earlier.
Early access is available to PC players who have purchased the “Morrowind Upgrade” or the “Collector’s Upgrade – Digital” or received it otherwise. But only on PC. This early access does not apply to Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
If players have bought or pre-ordered the “physical version” of ESO Morrowind as a Collector’s Edition, they can apply to have it manually unlocked. How that works exactly, Zenimax explains in this post on the official site.
TESO: What time does the Early Access for Morrowind start?
Many PC players are now wondering: When does it start?
We found a statement from the community manager Gina Bruno. She says, “It starts sometime in the morning, probably before 10 AM Eastern Time.” Here in Germany, that would be in the late afternoon. Before 4 PM on Monday, May 22, the Early Access for The Elder Scrolls Online Morrowind should start.
In the early access, all bonus items tied to the purchase of Morrowind will also be available.
