In the fantasy MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online , the port for the consoles PlayStation 4 and Xbox One is expected in June. Will typical PC peripherals like mouse and keyboard be supported here as well?
There are further statements from Zenimax regarding the details of a console port. Originally, it was planned that players would be able to chat with a keyboard on the consoles. This is no longer planned.
However, in certain fields (e.g., when choosing a guild name), players will be able to use the keyboard. Support for the mouse is not planned on the console.
According to older information, there are plans for the PC version of TESO that can then be played with a controller. This is planned for a time after the release of the consoles.
Furthermore, crossplay between PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players will not be possible. The two player groups will play on separate servers, as will PC/Mac players. This is due to requirements from Sony and Microsoft, as Zenimax states elsewhere.
In the coming weeks, one can expect the start of the console beta on PS4 and Xbox One. Information should be coming soon. Time is running out. It is expected to launch on consoles on June 9.
