The Elder Scrolls Online: Maintenance on 2.2. for PC, PS4 and XBox One [Update]

In the fantasy MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online, all megaservers on PC, PS4, and Xbox One are currently down for maintenance.

Yesterday there was a DDoS attack. Today, since 6:00 AM, the megaservers of The Elder Scrolls Online are down for maintenance. No timeline has been provided for when TESO will be playable again on PC, PS4, and Xbox One; it is only stated: The maintenance may take several hours. During this time, software upgrades will likely be applied. This may take less time on certain platforms than on others, resulting in the mega-servers coming back online at different times.

It seems to be a bigger issue, as Zenimax Online Studios will also conduct maintenance on the ESO Store and the account system. In the USA, it is still the middle of the night, which does not disturb the TESO players there (although there were complaints at the start on the West Coast when it was 9 PM). For us, the maintenance will likely extend into the afternoon.

Additionally, the test server is down, where you can play the Thieves Guild. Testing for the new DLC in The Elder Scrolls Online is expected to begin at the end of the week.

The maintenance is complete, and the #ESO European megaservers are now back online and available.
