This week, there will be maintenance for the fantasy MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online. We will tell you when you can put down the sword on Playstation 4 and Xbox One.
On August 31, the Imperial City arrives on PC, this is Update 7. Fans of The Elder Scrolls Online on PS4 and Xbox One will have to wait a little longer: for them, the Imperial City will not arrive until mid-September.
Patience is doubly necessary this week. Not only will there be the regular maintenance of The Elder Scrolls Online on Playstation 4 and Xbox One, but there will also be maintenance of the login system. Here, logged-in players will probably still be able to swing the mace or wand, but logging in may not be possible:
- For the Xbox One, server maintenance will take place on Tuesday, August 25, starting at 12:00 PM
- For the Playstation 4, the mega servers will be down on Wednesday, August 26, starting at 12:00 PM
- The login systems, ESO Store, and account system will be maintained on Wednesday, August 26, starting at 4:00 PM
How long the respective maintenance works will last and how long gaming will not be possible on those days is not known in advance.
Update: On Friday, August 28, the servers are also down. This is not planned, but is likely due to technical problems in the USA that arose during the night from Thursday to Friday. Finally, Zenimax reported that they “have a pulse” and the servers are gradually coming back. This apparently affected the servers of all platforms.
