In The Elder Scrolls Online there is a quirky problem: you are somehow pink.
Last week, The Elder Scrolls Online on PC received the new DLC “Thieves Guild” along with a patch. This brought some issues: crashes, audio problems, bugs with rewards, issues with the new 64-bit client – in short: the full package.
A particular problem: you are somehow pink. Some either lack textures or they are in a really blatant neon pink. This doesn’t fit into the earthy world of Tamriel at all.
Zenimax has then started with the hotfixes and has not really stopped since.
Yesterday, an interim patch was released that was supposed to fix the last “pink” issues. However, the problem seems to be more persistent than expected.
As community manager Gina Bruno informs, they have made progress with yesterday’s patch, but have not been able to completely solve the problem. There is nothing players can do or delete to fix the issue themselves. They will likely have to wait for the next patch.
Hopefully, the console release of “Thieves Guild” on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 goes more smoothly. In ESO, PC players have a few weeks’ lead over console players, essentially taking on the role of guinea pigs.
